WHAT TO EXPECT...

     .....when you come to enjoy this peaceful, quiet place in-between the lake and the Chippewa National Forest.  We are near golf courses, groomed snowmobile trails, hiking and biking trails, shopping, casino, restaurants, nature center & more…

     Our cabins...are newly remodeled with the comforts of home while still retaining the Cozy Warmth of the Old North Woods. Knotty pine walls, comfy beds and large windows overlooking the lake. All cabins have fans, a deck or screened porch, a charcoal grill & private fire pit. We have outdoor chairs, however you are welcome to bring your own.

     What to Bring? Our housekeeping cabins are very clean and outfitted with comforts of Home all for in cabin use only, including kitchen and bath towels. You will need to bring what you need for outside use on the beach, in boats and fish houses to clean up after cleaning fish etc…All cabin items need to stay in the cabin. Basics & more for the kitchen are provided including microwaves, coffee makers, appliances, house wares, games & cable TV.. To get you started (in case of an oops! “I forgot to bring…”) you will find a roll of paper towels, bath & facial tissue, plastic wrap & aluminum foil, coffee filters, matches, garbage bags and some basic cleaning supplies.

     Fire Pits .. Fires may be enjoyed in the pits as weather permits. We start you off with a good bundle of wood for your fire pit & some kindling. If you would like to purchase more …..it is very reasonable at $4.00 for a good bundle of Fire Wood! Please do not bring your own as transporting other diseases & insects can kill can the forest.

     Fishing .. Guests have enjoyed catching the most popular Walleye, Jumbo Perch, Large Sun Fish & Crappies, Large & Small Mouth Bass. For your fishing needs we have bait pre-stocked in live wells upon request, an excellent fish cleaning house and freezer storage available for your abundant catch.

     Boats.. Rent one of our or Bring your own (please rinse your boat off well prior to launching in our lakes as this will help prevent the introduction of foreign hitchhikers to our lake that could pose a threat. A good practice when going to any lake. We have a 200’ dock with boat slips. All Resort Boats need to be in before sunset as they are not equipped with lights for evening boating. Life Jackets & flotation devise are included with rental. A deposit is required for boats and motors in the event of damage.

     Outdoors….Enjoy the volleyball court, play area for the kids, fire rings, sandy beach, floating dock, paddle boat, canoe or even a walk.

PET POLICY

     All pets must be registered and approved of by the owners prior to your reservation confirmation.

     The fee for registered pets is $15/day or $85/week per pet.

     The following are considered pets: dogs, cats, caged birds or anything other than human. All dogs must have proof of rabies shots and be kept on a leash, away from other guests, unless other arrangements have been made in advance of your stay. Pets must not be left unattended inside or outside of the cabins. Clean-up is the responsibility of the pet owner. Owners are responsible for any damages that the pet might cause to people or property.
